Gujarat signed MoUs ₹ 26.33 lakh crore at Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024 – CM Patel

Gujarat: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel announced the successful conclusion of the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024, revealing the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for a staggering 41,299 projects. These projects boast investment proposals amounting to Rs 26.33 lakh crore, marking a significant milestone for the state.

In a post on X, Patel highlighted the historic achievement, stating that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the summit has set a new record. The cumulative impact of the MoUs signed during the 2022 edition, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, adds to the grand total. The combined figures now stand at 98,540 MoUs with investment proposals exceeding Rs 45 lakh crore.

During the Vibrant Summit in 2022, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, MoUs totaling Rs 18.87 lakh crore were signed for 57,241 projects. In the 10th edition of the Vibrant Summit held in January 2024, Chief Minister Patel revealed the signing of MoUs for 41,299 projects, drawing investments amounting to Rs 26.33 lakh crore.

The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024, themed ‘Gateway to the Future,’ aligns with Prime Minister Modi’s vision for a ‘Developed India @2047.’ The MoUs signed during the summit span emerging sectors, including semiconductor, e-mobility, green hydrogen, and renewable energy. The summit’s success reflects Gujarat’s commitment to attracting investments and fostering growth in key sectors, contributing to the nation’s development goals.
