Pran Pratishtha Ceremony Begins: In a momentous occasion steeped in devotion and tradition, the Pran Pratishtha ceremony for the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol is underway in Ayodhya, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in attendance.
Divine Blessings and Lotus Offering
Following the completion of the Pran Pratisthan ceremony, Prime Minister Modi presented a lotus at the feet of Ram Lalla, symbolizing reverence and seeking divine blessings. The Prime Minister expressed his profound emotions, stating, “The consecration of the idol of Ram Lalla at Ayodhya is an extraordinary and emotional moment. It’s a matter of great privilege to be a part of this divine programme.”
PM Modi’s Arrival at the Temple
Marking a historic moment, Prime Minister Modi arrived at the newly constructed Ram temple on Monday. He participated in a ‘sankalp’ (vow or resolution) ceremony, underscoring the significance of the event.
Completion of the Consecration
The ceremony, marking the consecration of the Ram idol in the new temple, has been completed. The temple now houses a larger, ‘Achal’ statue (immovable), symbolizing permanence and eternity. The older, smaller idols, referred to as ‘chal’ statues, will continue to be used for processions and celebrations, keeping alive the traditions and festivities associated with Lord Ram.
PM Modi’s Emotional Tweet
Reflecting on the ceremony, PM Modi took to Twitter to share his sentiments: “The divine moment of the Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya Dham is overwhelming for everyone. Being a part of this divine program is my great fortune. Jai SiyaRam!”
This event marks a new chapter in Ayodhya’s spiritual and cultural journey, resonating with millions of devotees worldwide.
