A lipoma is a round or oval-shaped tissue mass that is benign and develops right under the skin. Its high fat content makes it glide smoothly when touched, rarely causing any discomfort.

Lipomas are most commonly found on the back, trunk (torso), arms, shoulders and neck. Slowly developing soft tissue tumours that are typically not cancerous are called lipomas. Lipomas very rarely turn into cancerous sarcomas. Most lipomas will need treatment at some point. If you are bothered by a lipoma, you can consult a doctor and get it operated on.

Home remedies for lipoma

1. Make a balm using herbs and natural oils.

Good bases for ointments can be created using natural oils such as flaxseed and neem. You can experiment by combining these ingredients or utilizing them individually as needed. This balm will provide comfort to those with excess fat. Neem oil can help protect your skin from infection by acting as an antiseptic. It has been used to relieve lipomas temporarily for a very long time. Flaxseed oil contains both omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which are beneficial against inflammation caused by lipomas. You can either make oil from neem and flaxseeds, or you can purchase the oil from a store.

2. Combine black pepper with natural oil or tea as a base.

An element that has been popularly used for weight management is black pepper. It is thought to be an effective natural therapy for lipomas as a result. Form a paste using chilled tea and apply it directly on the lump, using one teaspoon of black pepper, one teaspoon of neem oil or flaxseed oil.

3. Turmeric

4. Apple cider vinegar

5. Tea tree oil

Tea tree oil has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Applying it to the area can help to reduce the size of the lipoma and speed up healing.
