Addressing the gathered audience, Prime Minister Modi congratulated the Charan Samaj and administrators, acknowledging the significance of Madhda Dham as a center of reverence, power, rituals, and traditions for the Charan community. He humbly bowed before the feet of Shree Aai, expressing reverence and gratitude for the blessings of Sonal Mata.

Recalling the three-day birth centenary festival of Sonal Mata, Prime Minister Modi emphasized that Bhagwati Swarupa Sonal Maa embodied the idea that India has never been devoid of incarnate souls in any era. He praised Gujarat and Saurashtra as lands of great saints and personalities, with the Holy Girnar being a beacon for countless saints.

“Prime Minister Modi observed that Sonal Maa devoted her entire life to the well-being of the public, serving the nation, and contributing to religious causes. He highlighted her collaboration with notable figures like Bhagat Bapu, Vinoba Bhave, Ravi Shankar Maharaj, Kanbhai Laheri, and Kalyan Sheth. Sonal Maa played a pivotal role among the scholars of the Charan community, transforming the lives of many youths by providing direction.

The Prime Minister underscored Sonal Maa’s contributions to society, particularly in education and de-addiction. He commended her efforts to combat societal evils and mentioned her pledge campaign in Vowar village, Kutch, emphasizing self-reliance and livestock protection.

Beyond her spiritual and social work, Sonal Maa emerged as a strong guardian of the country’s unity and integrity. Prime Minister Modi drew parallels between Sonal Maa and Maa Chandi, highlighting her resilience against conspiracies to break Junagadh during the partition.

“The Prime Minister asserted that Shree Sonal Maa stands as an exemplary symbol of the Charan community’s significant contributions to the nation.” He noted the special place and respect accorded to the Charan community in India’s scriptures, citing references in the Bhagwat Purana and blessings from Ma Saraswati. Highlighting Sonal Maa’s linguistic prowess and deep knowledge of scriptures, Prime Minister Modi shared anecdotes about her impactful storytelling, particularly the Ramayana.
