I’m happy to be making food for loved ones.”

People are inherently complimenting for one reason or another. Maybe somebody thinks you’re doing a good job, maybe somebody is just being sarcastic, maybe somebody is trying to be nice, or maybe somebody is fishing for something. We all have our own ways of coping with the things that people say to us, but it’s important not to take anything personally because what people say can’t change who you are on the inside.
