The Salar Jung Museum, established in 1948, is a house-museum of the Salar Jung family. The museum has a collection of over 12,000 paintings from India and around the world. It also has sections devoted to Indian costumes, textiles, metalware, carpets, jewelry and other household objects.

10 . Visitors should not indulge in any undesirable activities like smoking, chewing gum or eating sweets inside the museum.
