The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a concerning forecast, indicating the likelihood of continued heat wave to severe heat wave conditions persisting over East India and certain regions of South Peninsular India in the coming days. The forecast highlights the potential risks posed by prolonged exposure to extreme heat, urging residents and authorities to take necessary precautions to safeguard against adverse effects.
According to IMD’s statement, the prevailing weather patterns indicate a sustained period of elevated temperatures, with East India and parts of South Peninsular India expected to bear the brunt of the heat wave conditions.
