INC Announces Additional Candidates for Lok Sabha Elections in Andhra Pradesh and Jharkhand

The Indian National Congress (INC) has expanded its roster of candidates for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh and Jharkhand. On Sunday, the party’s Central Election Committee disclosed the names of eleven additional candidates, bolstering its electoral prospects in the two states.

In Andhra Pradesh, the INC announced contenders for constituencies including Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Amalapuram (SC), Machilipatnam, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nandyala, Anantapur, and Hindupur. The list includes prominent figures such as Jagna Goutham, Dr. Pedada Parameswarwararao, Valluru Bhargav, Bobbili Srinu, Gollu Krishna, Eda Sudhakara Reddy, Jangiti Lakshmi Narasimha Yadav, Mallikarjun Vajjala, and BA Samad Shaheen.

Meanwhile, in Jharkhand, the INC revealed its candidates for the Godda and Ranchi constituencies. Pradeep Yadav will contest from Godda, replacing Deepika Pandey Singh, while Yashashwini Sahay will represent the party in Ranchi.

The upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh will be held on May 13, with vote counting scheduled for June 4. In Jharkhand, the polls will take place on May 13, May 20, May 25, and June 1 for the state’s 14 Lok Sabha seats.

The announcement of additional candidates reflects the INC’s strategic approach to enhance its representation and engagement with voters in Andhra Pradesh and Jharkhand. With the electoral battle intensifying, the party aims to strengthen its position and contribute to shaping the political landscape in the region.
