In a significant development, an India coalition meeting convened under the leadership of Congress President and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, to address the crucial issue of peace in Manipur. The meeting focused on the collective efforts being undertaken to establish harmony and stability in the region, with a strong commitment to addressing the challenges both within and outside the Parliament.
During the meeting, “Mallikarjun Kharge reiterated the coalition’s determination to exhaust all possible avenues to ensure peace prevails in Manipur. He emphasized the importance of a multifaceted approach that encompasses grassroots initiatives as well as active participation in parliamentary discussions”.
Kharge’s statement, “We are making every effort to achieve peace in Manipur. This fight will continue from the road to the Parliament,” underscores the coalition’s unwavering resolve to tackle the issue from every possible angle. The focus on bridging the gap between ground-level efforts and parliamentary action showcases the coalition’s comprehensive strategy to bring about positive change.
