In a significant testament to India’s prowess in space exploration, Narendra Singh Tomar, the Union Minister, has expressed the country’s remarkable achievements in the space sector, characterizing it as the dawn of new dimensions.

Narendra Singh Tomar, in his statement, unveiled astonishing statistics, illustrating the exponential growth in India’s satellite launches. He stated, “The number of foreign and domestic satellites launched by India during the period 2003-14 was 33 and 31 respectively, which increased to 396 and 70 respectively during the period 2014-23.”

“This surge in satellite launches signifies India’s escalating presence in space missions, attracting both domestic and international recognition. The significant rise in the numbers underscores the country’s commitment to advancing its capabilities and contributing substantially to the global space community”.
