ISRO Scientist Recruitment 2024: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has recently unveiled an exciting opportunity for aspiring scientists with the release of its recruitment notification for 19 scientist positions. This announcement marks a significant opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to India’s space exploration endeavors.
Recruitment Overview
The application process for these coveted positions commenced on December 26 and will continue until January 15, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official ISRO website at careers.sac.gov.in.

Application Fees
Candidates falling under the General/OBC/EWS category are required to pay an application fee of Rs 750, while applicants from SC/ST/PwBD/ESM and all category females are exempt from any application fees.

Age Limit
As of January 15, 2024, candidates should be between 18 and 28 years old. However, relaxation in age limits is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
Selection Procedure
The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in a written examination and an interview. Shortlisting for interviews will be conducted in a ratio of 1:5 based on performance in the written test. For reserved vacancies, candidates will be shortlisted in a ratio of 1:5 without regard to the reserved candidates shortlisted under the UR category.
Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates will be placed in pay level 10 of the pay scale, ranging from Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500. Additionally, they will receive benefits such as Dearness Allowances (DA), House Rent Allowances (HRA), and Transport Allowances as per existing rules. Other benefits include National Pension System coverage, medical facilities for oneself and dependents, subsidized canteen, quarters facility, Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, housebuilding advances, and more.
