Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki,’ while putting up a decent fight, sold 1,33,239 tickets from 5472 shows, securing a 10.62% occupancy. Among national chains, PVR emerged on top with 24,870 tickets and ₹0.73 crore, followed by INOX with 13,716 tickets and ₹0.37 crore, and Cinepolis with 11,401 tickets, accumulating ₹0.24 crore. The total earnings for all theatres amounted to ₹2.55 crore, reflecting a commendable performance for ‘Dunki’ in the face of stiff competition.
