JEE Main 2024: As the clock ticks towards the impending Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 Session 1, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended a last-minute opportunity for candidates to rectify any discrepancies in their application form images. This crucial chance to correct photo uploads will conclude today, January 6, 2024, at 11:50 pm.
Key Details for Image Correction:
- Visit the Official Website: Candidates can review and amend their uploaded photos by visiting the official JEE Main website at jeemain.nta.ac.in. It is imperative to take advantage of this opportunity before the specified deadline.
- Correct Photo Specifications: Ensure your photograph adheres to the following specifications:
- Recent and in color or black and white.
- Passport size (10 KB to 200 KB).
- 80 percent of the candidate’s face (without a mask) including ears should be visible.
- Clicked on a white background.
- Glasses are permissible only if regularly used.
- Polaroids and computer-generated photographs will not be accepted.
- Avoid Rejection of Application: The NTA emphasizes that application forms failing to meet the specified instructions or featuring unclear photographs may face rejection. Applications submitted without a photo will also be rejected.
- Session 1 Exam Dates: The JEE Main 2024 Session 1 is scheduled to take place from January 24 to February 1 at multiple examination centers across the country. Candidates are encouraged to finalize their application details promptly to avoid any last-minute hurdles.
- Previous Correction Window: The NTA had earlier provided a window for candidates to make amendments to their application forms from December 6 to 8, 2023. This additional opportunity serves as a final call for candidates to ensure all details, especially the uploaded image, are in compliance with the set guidelines.
As the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 approaches, candidates are reminded that meticulous attention to detail in the application process is crucial. The correction window for image uploads is the last chance to ensure a smooth and error-free examination experience.
