In a heartfelt response to a tragic incident on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister, conveyed his condolences and assured coordinated rescue efforts. The accident, which occurred near Battery Chashma, involved a passenger taxi rolling down a deep gorge, resulting in the loss of 10 lives.
Dr. Jitendra Singh, deeply saddened by the news, immediately reached out to Deputy Commissioner Ramban Sh Baseer-ul-Haq to ascertain the situation and offer support. He emphasized the importance of swift action in such emergencies, ensuring that all necessary resources are mobilized to aid in the rescue operation.
Acknowledging the rapid response of the authorities, Dr. Singh highlighted the presence of the police, State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and Civil Quick Response Team (QRT) at the accident site. Their combined efforts are focused on executing the rescue operation efficiently, aiming to minimize further casualties and provide assistance to those affected by the tragedy.
Expressing his solidarity with the bereaved families, Dr. Jitendra Singh extended his sincere condolences during this difficult time. His words of sympathy serve as a reminder of the human toll of such accidents and the importance of collective efforts in mitigating their impact.
As the rescue operation continues, Dr. Jitendra Singh remains in constant communication with the authorities, ensuring that all necessary support is extended to facilitate the process.
