On the 25th of March, The district of Reasi in Jammu and Kashmir is soon set to witness a momentous occasion as trains will pass through the world’s highest railway bridge over the river Chenab. This feat is a dream come true for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, thanks to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The project was plagued with several challenges, including the difficult terrain and harsh weather conditions, but the determination of the team led to its successful completion. The bridge is designed to withstand earthquakes up to 8 on the Richter scale and high-velocity winds of up to 260 Kmph.
The bridge is expected to reduce the travel time between Jammu and Srinagar by several hours and provide a safe and reliable mode of transportation for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The project is also expected to boost tourism in the region and provide a significant boost to the local economy.
The completion of the world’s highest railway bridge is a testament to the government’s commitment to the development of Jammu and Kashmir. It is a proud moment for the people of Jammu and Kashmir who have long waited for a reliable mode of transportation to connect them with the rest of India.
