In recent times, discussions have been circulating about Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut potentially contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on a BJP ticket from Chandigarh. However, on Friday, Kangana herself put an end to these speculations. She took to her Instagram to share and dismiss a news article suggesting her entry into electoral politics, labeling such reports as baseless rumors.
As the Lok Sabha elections draw near, several contenders for tickets in Chandigarh have started emerging, creating a buzz within BJP and Aam Aadmi Party circles.
Kangana’s Clarification:
Kangana Ranaut used her Instagram story to share the news article hinting at her possible electoral participation. In response, she clarified that discussions about her contesting elections are mere speculations and nothing more. Kangana insisted that all the reports around her election aspirations are baseless rumors. She went further to state that relatives and friends are forwarding her the news article’s heading as if it were her official statement, but she categorically denied any such intention.
As the political atmosphere in Chandigarh heats up with talks of potential candidates, Kangana Ranaut sets the record straight, denouncing any plans to enter the electoral arena. She emphasizes that the headlines circulating in the media are baseless and urges her well-wishers to refrain from considering them as authentic information.
