In a historic moment, Kangana Ranaut, the renowned Bollywood actress, became the first woman to participate in the traditional Raavan Dahan ceremony at Lav Kush Ramleela in New Delhi. This ritual holds immense significance in the celebration of Dussehra.
Kangana graced the stage, accompanied by her sister Rangoli Chandel, for this momentous occasion. Adorned in a resplendent traditional red saree and her hair elegantly tied in a bun, Kangana joined Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena in this auspicious event.

A video capturing this unique moment quickly went viral. Kangana was seen holding a bow, with onlookers providing guidance on arrow shooting. She valiantly attempted three times to shoot the arrow but was unsuccessful on all occasions. Despite the challenges, Kangana’s spirit remained undaunted. She continued to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram,’ and eventually, a member of the Lav Kush Ramleela Committee stepped in to assist her in hitting the target.

In the midst of these Dussehra festivities, Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming movie, “Tejas,” is set to hit theaters this weekend. In “Tejas,” Kangana assumes the role of an air force pilot. Produced by RSVP and written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara, the film is slated for a theatrical release on October 27, 2023, promising an exciting cinematic experience for audiences.
