Dussehra Celebrations Across the Nation: As the country celebrates Vijayadashami, also known as Dussehra, on October 24, 2023, the air is filled with festive fervor. People are busy with preparations for this joyous occasion, and Bollywood actors are no exception. The renowned actress Kangana Ranaut is set to mark the festival in a unique and historic way.
Kangana Ranaut to Ignite Ravana’s Effigy
Kangana Ranaut recently delighted her fans by sharing that she will be performing the ceremonial burning of the Ravana effigy for the first time. This event will take place on October 24 at the Luv Kush Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. Kangana’s participation in the ritual will make her the first woman in 50 years to do so.
Sharing a video on her Instagram account, Kangana expressed her excitement, stating, “This event has been organized every year at the Red Fort for the past 50 years. However, this time, it will be the first instance of a woman setting fire to the effigy of Ravana. Jai Shri Ram.” In the video, Kangana is seen wearing elegant green & white attire.

Kangana Ranaut’s unique role in the Dussehra celebrations is gaining widespread attention, and the video has gone viral on social media platforms. In addition to Kangana, numerous film and television stars have actively participated in the festivities at the Luv Kush Ramlila Maidan.
