Bollywood’s latest sensation, Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the late Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, has marked her debut in the industry with the teenage musical comedy film, ‘The Archies.’ Notably, the film also introduces Suhana Khan and Agastya Nanda to the world of acting, all under the directorial flair of Zoya Akhtar. A star-studded screening of ‘The Archies,’ set against the backdrop of the 60s, recently unfolded in Mumbai. The event witnessed the presence of numerous Bollywood stars who not only attended but also showered accolades on the film’s star cast. Among the emerging talents, Khushi Kapoor, in a lead role, garnered particular attention. Proud father Boney Kapoor took to social media to share his detailed thoughts on his daughter’s maiden venture.
Boney Kapoor’s Reflective Review on Instagram
Expressing his nostalgia, Boney Kapoor reminisced about his school days when Archie’s comics were a beloved part of every youngster’s life. Kapoor praised Zoya Akhtar’s creation, noting how it beautifully transports the audience to the past. He commended the perfectly cast actors, the aptly chosen songs, and the entire crew for creating a world that aligns seamlessly with the essence of Archie’s comics. Kapoor particularly acknowledged the marketing efforts of the Netflix team, applauding their commitment to the project.
Boney Kapoor’s Instagram post read, “Takes me back to my school days when Archie’s comics were every youngster’s favorite, the world created by Zoya takes you to the past, every actor is perfectly cast, the songs are perfect.” Kapoor concluded his review by expressing how much he enjoyed the movie, likening it to flipping through the pages of a comic. He expressed his intention to watch the film repeatedly until the release of a new issue.
