Deepak Dhar, who was born on October 20, 1953, is an Indian screen and theatre actor best known by his stage name, Kiran Kumar. He has worked in numerous television and film productions in Hindi, Bhojpuri, and Gujarati. The latest work by him in drama is Charlie 2.
Early life:
Kumar’s great-grandfather was a nobleman who governed the Gilgit Agency as its Wazir-e-Wazarat; he came from an aristocratic Kashmiri Pandit family.
He attended a boarding school in Indore called Daly College, and then enrolled at R.D. National College in Mumbai. After attending National College in Bandra, Mumbai, he joined the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune. “Deepak Dhar” was his nickname among friends at the Film and Television Institute of India.
