Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the highly anticipated ‘Pran Pratishtha’ rituals at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, a momentous event marking Lord Ram’s homecoming after centuries. The inauguration of the temple was a blend of devotion and grandeur, showcasing the first image of the child Lord Ram, Ram Lalla, sculpted by renowned artist Arun Yogiraj.
The Divine Idol Revealed
The consecration ceremony was a sight to behold as the resplendent idol of Ram Lalla, adorned in exquisite gold, diamond, emerald, and ruby ornaments, was unveiled. The idol, holding a gold bow and arrow, symbolized strength and divinity, captivating the hearts of devotees.
Prime Minister’s Role in the Ceremony
Prime Minister Modi actively participated in the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the newly erected Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir. Accompanied by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, he engaged in the pre-Pran Pratishtha rituals, marking an auspicious beginning to the ceremonies.
A Gathering of Stars and Dignitaries
The Ram Mandir teemed with guests, including renowned personalities from various fields. Bollywood legends like Amitabh Bachchan, celebrated cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Anil Kumble, and prominent actors from the South Indian film industry graced the occasion, witnessing this historic event.
PM Modi’s Tribute to Temple Workers
In a touching gesture, Prime Minister Modi honored the construction workers of the grand temple by showering flower petals on them. His address to the assembly highlighted the unifying spirit of Lord Ram, emphasizing that Ram is a symbol of resolution and not of discord.
This grand event not only marked a pivotal moment in India’s cultural and spiritual journey but also united the country in a celebration of heritage and faith.
