Born on 9 August 1975, Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu is an Indian actor, producer, media personality, and philanthropist who works mainly in Telugu cinema. He has won several accolades for his work in more than 25 films, including eight Nandi Awards, five Filmfare South Awards, four South Indian International Movie Awards, three CineMAA Awards, and one IIFA Utsavam Award. He also owns the production house G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment, one of the highest-paid Telugu film actors.
Rajakumarudu (1999) was his lead debut and won him the Nandi Award for Best Male Debut. Murari (2001) was Babu’s breakthrough supernatural drama, and Okkadu (2003) was his action film.
