Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, The Minister of Health and Family Welfare, stated that linking health with development is crucial because only a healthy society can become a developed one.

The Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit was an opportunity to discuss the progress in the healthcare and medical education sectors and to plan for the future. The government of Uttar Pradesh provided information on new medical facilities and the investment opportunities available in medical colleges, paramedic colleges, and diagnostic facilities in the state.

The Indian government has been making significant investments in the healthcare sector to provide quality medical facilities to its citizens. This has included the creation of new hospitals and the upgrading of existing ones, as well as increasing the number of medical colleges to produce more healthcare professionals. Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Health Minister of India, spoke at an event in Uttar Pradesh, where he spoke about the opportunities available in the healthcare and medical education sectors in the state. He stated that Uttar Pradesh, also known as the land of Sushrut and Charaka, is now a land of opportunities under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The minister emphasized that the government has created a favorable ecosystem for businesses to grow and has brought in long-term policies to encourage investment in the healthcare sector. He also stated that these policies have resulted in the creation of over 100 unicorns in the country.

Dr. Mandaviya also highlighted the success of the Ayushman Bharat initiative, which has enabled even the poorest of the poor to access quality medical treatment in private medical institutions. He also spoke about India’s high dependency on imported medical devices and urged entrepreneurs to reduce this dependency by innovating and producing medical devices locally.
