Deputy Chief Minister Leads the Way

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, at a specially organized event held at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, took the lead in digitally transferring these funds to the accounts of eligible beneficiaries. This move underscores the government’s unwavering commitment to providing affordable housing solutions to the citizens of Uttar Pradesh.

First Installment Benefits 80 Thousand Beneficiaries

A substantial portion of the allocated funds, amounting to Rs 323.24 crore, will be disbursed as the first installment to the accounts of 80 thousand beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Awas Yojana. This initiative aims to offer immediate relief and assistance to those in need of housing solutions.

Rural Development Commissioner GS Priyadarshi highlighted that an impressive sum of Rs 795.61 crore will be transferred to the accounts of beneficiaries enrolled in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural). This investment will not only create housing opportunities but also stimulate economic growth within rural communities.

To date, the state of Uttar Pradesh has sanctioned a staggering 38.56 lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Chief Minister Awas Yojana. This demonstrates the government’s unwavering dedication to addressing the housing needs of its citizens.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana’s Impact

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), nearly 29.85 lakh families in Uttar Pradesh have already realized their dream of owning a house. Additionally, the scheme has extended its support to 1.60 lakh families who were initially deprived of PM housing benefits but were entitled to the scheme’s advantages.
