Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma reaffirmed the government’s dedication to addressing the state’s concerns, particularly in the realm of employment, during today’s budget session. With a focus on creating job opportunities and empowering the youth, Sangma outlined various initiatives and schemes aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and skill development.
“During today’s budget session, various state concerns were addressed and deliberated upon. On the issue of creating employment, the house was informed of the government’s commitment to ensure job creation through entrepreneurship,” stated CM Conrad K Sangma.
Highlighting the government’s proactive approach, Sangma further elaborated, “The State government is implementing various schemes and programs for the creation of employment opportunities through CM- ELEVATE, PRIME, Meghalaya Grassroot Music Project, etc.”
The CM Conrad K Sangma emphasized the importance of skilling, handholding, and mentoring the youth to channel their energy towards positive change and development. This holistic approach aims to equip the younger generation with the necessary tools and resources to thrive in today’s competitive landscape.
As part of the government’s strategy, initiatives like CM- ELEVATE, PRIME, and the Meghalaya Grassroot Music Project play a pivotal role in nurturing entrepreneurial talent and fostering innovation. These programs not only aim to create job opportunities but also empower individuals to become self-reliant and contribute to the state’s economic growth.
Meghalaya CM Conrad K Sangma’s remarks during the budget session underscore the government’s unwavering commitment to employment generation and youth empowerment.
