On the 7th of February Jitendra Singh said, “The enthusiasm witnessed in Meghalaya towards the BJP candidates has been a testament to the faith that people have in the leadership and transformation brought about by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Northeastern region of India”.
The transformation brought about by PM Modi in the Northeastern region has been remarkable, with initiatives such as the Act East Policy, which aims to enhance economic and cultural ties with Southeast Asia, and the creation of the Northeastern Development Finance Corporation Limited, which provides financial assistance for infrastructure development in the region.
These initiatives have not only created new economic opportunities for the people of the Northeastern region but have also improved the overall quality of life. The BJP’s focus on developing the region’s infrastructure, such as roads, railways, and airports, has also made it easier for people to travel, trade and communicate, which has led to increased economic activity and job creation.
Moreover, PM Modi’s commitment to bringing about a more inclusive and equitable society has also been reflected in the BJP’s efforts to empower the marginalized sections of society, such as women and tribals. The party’s commitment to creating a better future for all has resonated with the people of the Northeastern region and has contributed to the growing support for BJP candidates.
