Know About Balasaheb Thackeray:-

Bal Keshav Thackeray, who formed an intense Marathiist party named Shiv Sena, was a famous politician from the Maharashtra state of India. He was also called Balasaheb Thackeray. A newspaper called Saamana used to be brought out by him in Marathi.

Thackeray started his life’s journey as a cartoonist. He used to draw cartoons for English newspapers earlier. Later, in the year 1960, he brought out an independent weekly newspaper named Marmik and propagated and disseminated the political philosophy of his father Keshav Sitaram Thackeray in Maharashtra. In 1966, he founded the Shiv Sena.

In addition to Saamana in the Marathi language, he also brought out a newspaper called Dopar Ka Saamana in the Hindi language. Thus, Thackeray was the founder of two major newspapers each in Hindi and Marathi in Maharashtra.

Due to Hinduist views, he used to remain in the headlines of the newspaper. On 17 November 2012, he breathed his last at 3.33 pm at his Matoshree residence in Mumbai.
