The anticipation is building as Motorola prepares to introduce its latest smartphone, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, to the Indian market on September 21st. With a reputation for delivering innovative and feature-packed devices, Motorola’s Edge series has garnered attention worldwide. As the launch date approaches, let’s take a closer look at what to expect from the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, from its design and specifications to its potential impact on the Indian smartphone landscape.
Design, Color Options, and Specifications Leak
The device boasts a sleek design with flat edges and minimal bezels. On the right edge, you’ll find the volume rocker and power button, while the bottom edge houses a USB Type-C port, a microphone, a SIM tray slot, and a speaker grille. The smartphone is expected to be available in attractive color options such as Caneel Bay, Black Beauty, and Soothing Sea.
Key Specifications to Look Forward The
Motorola Edge 40 Neo is anticipated to feature a 6.55-inch full-HD+ pOLED display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. This display is expected to support a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is likely to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1050 SoC, paired with a Mali G77 GPU, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. It is expected to run on Android 13-based MyUX OS.

The device is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The smartphone is rumored to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 68W wired fast charging.
