Mumbai-Goa Highway Development Projects worth Rs 15,000 crore announced by Nitin Gadkari

Nitin Gadkari, the Indian Minister for Road Transport and Highways, announced that the Mumbai to Goa National Highway 66 will promote tourism and industrial development in the Konkan region. The improved road safety system will also reduce accidents. Additionally, the minister announced three new projects worth Rs 15,000 crore, including a Rs 13,000 crore road link between Morbe and Karanjade via JNP, a Rs 1,200 crore project at Kalamboli Junction, and a Rs 1,200 crore project on Pagode Junction Chowk to Greenfield Highway. Gadkari stated that the projects will contribute to the all-inclusive progress of not only the Raigad district but also the entire state of Maharashtra under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On the 30th of March Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways recently announced the development of the Mumbai to Goa National Highway 66. According to him, this highway will connect major tourist places in Konkan, thereby promoting tourism development. Additionally, the highway will also connect major industrial areas, which will drive industrial development in the region. The improved road safety system will also reduce the incidence of accidents, making travel safer for all.

Soon, the commencement of these projects is anticipated.
