The successful rescue of 41 workers from the Silkyara tunnel in Uttarkashi has been a great relief not only for the trapped workers but for the entire nation. The incident occurred on November 12 when a portion of the tunnel caved in, trapping the workers inside for 17 long days. The rescue mission involved the efforts of 22 different agencies, including the Indian Army, NDRF, and the Indian Air Force.
Many Bollywood celebrities like Akshay Kumar, and Abhishek Bachchan, among others, expressed their joy and gratitude towards the rescue team and the agencies that worked tirelessly to ensure the safe rescue of the trapped workers. Riteish Deshmukh, Jackie Shroff, and Nimrat Kaur are among those who expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the rescue team.
The successful rescue operation is a testament to the coming together of science, heart, and humanity. It is heartening to see how different agencies came together to work towards a common goal, putting their own lives at risk to save others. This incident is a reminder that we should always be prepared to help each other in times of need and that we should never lose hope, even in the most challenging situations.
