In a heartwarming display of familial bliss, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan and his beloved actress wife Nayanthara celebrated their first Onam together with their twin sons, Uyir and Ulagam. The couple, known for their private lives, offered a glimpse into their joyous festivities through endearing pictures that have captured the hearts of fans everywhere.

The pictures, shared by Vignesh Shivan on Sunday, depict the family dressed in resplendent traditional white ensembles, seated for the traditional Onam meal. The entire setting exudes an aura of warmth and togetherness, as they enjoy the festivity on banana leaves spread out on the floor. The twins, Uyir and Ulagam, clad in white mundus, sit beside each other, making the occasion even more heartwarming.
Vignesh Shivan accompanied the images with touching captions, expressing his delight in celebrating his first Onam with his sons. Vignesh wrote, “First Onam with my Uyir & Ulagam. #GodBless. As the festival starts early here! Extending heartfelt pre-Onam wishes to all for a joyous ONAM celebration in advance.”

The celebrations weren’t limited to family, as Vignesh also shared two romantic snapshots with Nayanthara. In one of the images, the couple shares an intimate moment that perfectly encapsulates their “beautiful, simple life.” Vignesh wrote, “In our very simple, beautiful life! A beautiful, simple moment that feels special. Onam festivities begin here with my Uyirs & Ulagamsss. Wishing everyone in advance a very happy Onam.”

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan’s love story has captivated fans, and their union in an intimate ceremony in Chennai on June 9 last year was a moment of celebration for many. Their family expanded four months later with the arrival of their twin sons Uyir and Ulagam through surrogacy, completing their circle of love and togetherness.
As Nayanthara readies herself for the much-anticipated release of the Atlee film, “Jawan,” opposite Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, their lives continue to be woven with the threads of both personal and professional successes. Nayanthara’s fans eagerly await the film’s release on September 7, where she will share the screen with other prominent talents like Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra.
