On the 14th of February, On 14th February 2023, Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, addresses the convocation ceremony of SRM University in Modinagar, Uttar Pradesh.
Nitin Gadkari emphasized the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in the development of the country. He urged the students to come up with new ideas and innovations that could help in solving the various problems faced by the country. He also stressed the need for self-reliance and encouraged the students to take up entrepreneurship as a career option.
The minister also spoke about the various initiatives taken by the government in the field of education, such as the New Education Policy and the setting up of the National Education Technology Forum. He highlighted the importance of digital education in the current scenario and how it can help in making education more accessible and inclusive.
Nitin Gadkari also talked about the role of technology in the development of infrastructure and how it can help in reducing the cost and time of construction. He gave examples of the use of precast technology in the construction of highways and bridges, which has helped in reducing the cost and time of construction.
The minister also stressed the need for sustainable development and the importance of adopting green technologies. He urged the students to come up with new ideas and innovations in the field of green energy and sustainable development.
Nitin Gadkari’s address to the convocation ceremony of SRM University was inspiring and thought-provoking. His emphasis on innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development was a timely reminder of the challenges faced by the country and the need for new ideas and solutions to overcome them. The students and faculty members of SRM University were left with a sense of purpose and a renewed commitment to contribute towards the development of the country.
