On the 7th of March Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways recently congratulated the Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Sangma Conrad, and his cabinet colleagues on taking the oath of office. Gadkari expressed his hope that the people of Meghalaya would prosper under the new leadership and be infused with a refreshed sense of optimism.
Sangma Conrad, the leader of the National People’s Party (NPP), was recently re-elected as the Chief Minister of Meghalaya for the second time. His party won a majority in the state assembly elections held in February 2023. After taking the oath of office, Conrad and his cabinet colleagues started working towards fulfilling their promises to the people of Meghalaya.
Meghalaya is a state in northeastern India known for its scenic beauty and diverse culture. With a population of around 3 million, the state has made significant progress in recent years in areas such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure development. The state government, under the leadership of Conrad, is expected to continue working toward the growth and development of the state.
Nitin Gadkari’s message of congratulations to Sangma Conrad and his cabinet colleagues on taking the oath of office is a reflection of the importance of strong leadership in achieving prosperity and growth for the people of Meghalaya. As the state moves forward under the new leadership, there is hope that it will continue to progress and thrive in the years to come.
