On the 27th of January, Nitin Gadkari extends Birthday greetings to the Chief Minister of Meghalaya Conrad K. Sangma and I pray May you be blessed with good health and long life.
Conrad K. Sangma is a prominent political leader from India, currently serving as the Chief Minister of Meghalaya. He is the President of the National People’s Party (NPP) and a member of the Northeastern Democratic Alliance (NEDA).
Sangma was born(born 27 January 1978) in Tura, Meghalaya, and comes from a political family. His father, Purno A. Sangma, was a former Chief Minister of Meghalaya and a Member of Parliament. Conrad followed in his father’s footsteps, entering politics at a young age.
He began his political career as a member of the Indian National Congress (INC) party, but later joined the NPP, a regional party that focuses on the development and empowerment of the people of Meghalaya and the Northeastern region of India.
Sangma has held several important positions in the state and national government. He served as a Member of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly from 2008 to 2018 and as the Leader of the Opposition from 2008 to 2013. In 2018, he was elected as the Chief Minister of Meghalaya, leading a coalition government.
As Chief Minister, Sangma has been focused on improving the infrastructure and economic development of Meghalaya. He has also been working to address the issues of unemployment and poverty in the state. He also brought a development plan for all the tribal communities in the state, which was well received by the local people.
Sangma has also been active in national politics and is a member of the NEDA, a coalition of regional parties that works to promote the interests of the Northeastern region of India. He has been a vocal advocate for the rights and welfare of the people of the region.
Overall Conrad K. Sangma is a dedicated and dynamic leader, who has made significant contributions to the development and empowerment of the people of Meghalaya and the Northeastern region of India.
His focus on improving infrastructure, economic development, and addressing poverty and unemployment have earned him the respect and support of the people. His work continues to inspire many and serves as a shining example of how one person can make a difference in the lives of many
