On the 30th of January Nitin Gadkari wishes Lok Sabha MP from Rajsamand, Rajasthan, Diya Kumari, a very happy birthday and said, “May you stay healthy and live a long life, God bless you.”
Diya Kumari is a prominent Indian politician and the current Member of Parliament (MP) from the Rajsamand Lok Sabha constituency in Rajasthan. She is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the erstwhile royal family of Jaipur.
Diya Kumari (born on 30 January 1971) in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. She is the daughter of the late Sawai Bhawani Singh and the late Rajmata Padmini Devi. She is the sister of the current Maharaja of Jaipur, Sawai Padmanabh Singh.
Diya Kumari is a well-known figure in Rajasthan and has been actively involved in politics for several years. She is a member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from the Sawai Madhopur constituency and has served as a member of the assembly from 2003 to 2018. She is also a member of the BJP’s National Executive and the party’s national spokesperson.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Diya Kumari contested from the Rajsamand Lok Sabha constituency and emerged victorious with a margin of over 3.5 lakh votes. She defeated her nearest rival, the Congress party candidate, by a significant margin.
Diya Kumari is known for her work in the field of education and women’s empowerment. She is the founder of the Diya Kumari Foundation, which works towards the education and empowerment of girls and women in Rajasthan.
The foundation has set up several schools and vocational training centers in the state, providing education and skill development opportunities to thousands of girls and women.
Diya Kumari is also known for her philanthropic work and her efforts to preserve the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan. She is the founder of the Rajmahal Palace Museum, which showcases the art and artifacts of the erstwhile royal family of Jaipur. She is also the patron of several cultural organizations and festivals in the state, promoting Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage.
As a Member of Parliament, Diya Kumari is expected to take forward her work in the field of education and women’s empowerment and to work towards the overall development of the Rajsamand constituency.
She is a respected figure in Rajasthan and is expected to play a significant role in the development of the state.
