0n the 25th of march, Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, recently inaugurated a water tank constructed under the Amrit Yojana at Gittikhadan, Anant Nagar in Nagpur. The Amrit Yojana is a scheme initiated by the Indian government to provide basic amenities like water supply, sewerage, and urban transport to urban areas across the country.
The construction of the water tank in Gittikhadan, Anant Nagar, Nagpur, is a significant step towards fulfilling the objectives of the Amrit Yojana. The water tank has been built with a capacity of 22 lakh liters and is expected to cater to the water supply needs of around 5,000 households in the area.
