Hari Narayan Apte was born on March 8, 1864, in Bombay (now Mumbai), and his work in literature spanned over four decades. Some of his famous works include the play “Sita Swayamvar,” the novel “Pan Lakshat Kon Gheto,” and the collection of poems “Chandomay.”
