On the 2nd of February, Nitin Gadkari wishes Birthday greetings to the Lok Sabha MP from Maldaha Uttar, West Bengal Khagen Murmu and he said to be blessed with good health and long life.
Khagen Murmu is the Lok Sabha MP from Malda North in the Indian state of West Bengal. He was born on 2 February 1960 in Malda district in the state of West Bengal and has been a dedicated member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for over a decade.
He was elected from Habibpur as a member of CPIM in 2001. In 2019, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and was selected for the Lok Sabha 2019 Indian general election from Maldaha Uttar (Lok Sabha constituency).
In the 2019 general elections, Murmu contested from the Malda North constituency and emerged victorious, securing over 60% of the total votes polled. He is now a member of the 17th Lok Sabha and is known for his active participation in parliamentary proceedings.
As a Lok Sabha MP, Murmu is a firm believer in the idea of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” (Together with all, Development for all) and has been working towards the betterment of his constituents through various schemes and initiatives. He is particularly concerned about the welfare of the farmers in the region and has been working towards providing them with better support and facilities.
He has been supporting various schools and colleges in the area and has been providing financial assistance to students in need.
Khagen Murmu is widely respected for his honesty and integrity and is known for his simple and straightforward approach. He has been praised for his hard work and dedication toward the betterment of his constituents.
