JEE Main 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2024 Session 2 for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) from April 04 to April 09, 2024. Held across 319 cities nationwide, including 22 cities outside India, the examination witnessed the participation of numerous aspiring engineering students.
Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access the provisional answer keys and question papers with recorded responses on the official website https://jeemain.nta.ac.in/. The NTA has provided this opportunity for interested candidates to challenge the provisional answer keys if they have any objections.
To challenge the answer keys, candidates must submit their objections online and pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 per question. The deadline for submitting challenges and making the payment is April 14, 2024, until 11:50 PM. It’s crucial to note that no challenges will be entertained without the receipt of the processing fee.
The procedure for challenging the answer keys involves logging in to the official website using the application number and date of birth, selecting the questions to be challenged, providing supporting documents (if any), and making the payment online through debit card, credit card, or net banking.
After considering the challenges submitted by the candidates, the NTA will revise the answer keys if necessary. The final answer keys will then be used to prepare and declare the results. Candidates will not be individually notified of the acceptance or rejection of their challenges.
