Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

Devara Part 1: After a joyful Diwali break filled with celebrations, NTR Jr, the man of the masses, is back in action, recommencing the shoot for the highly anticipated film, ‘Devara Part 1.’ The film’s team is gearing up to capture its most epic moments as they continue the shooting process.

The film’s official page shared the exciting news, stating, “After a brief festival break, our hardworking team is back on set for another epic schedule. ‘Devara Part 1’ promises to be a big screen extravaganza, unveiling on April 5th, 2024.” ‘Devara’ has been making headlines since its announcement as a pan-India project. Touted as the biggest release of 2024, the magnum opus is written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Koratala Siva.

Originally envisioned as a single-part film, director Koratala Siva recently disclosed that ‘Devara’ will now unfold in two parts, attributed to its extensive runtime, intricate storytelling, and meticulously crafted aesthetic. Delighting ‘Devara’ enthusiasts worldwide with this revelation, Siva clarified, “The film is set in the forgotten lands of coastal India, and the canvas is too expansive. As we commenced shooting, the canvas revealed its grandeur, expanding. Each character carries significant weight, demanding thorough exploration and detailed establishment, aspects we couldn’t justify in a single part. Thus, we opted to narrate this expansive tale in two parts. While the narrative remains unchanged, its grandeur will flourish in scale. ‘Devara’ will unfold in two parts, with April 5, 2024, marking just the beginning.”

In addition to NTR Jr, the film features Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles, marking Janhvi’s debut in South Indian cinema. The trio is set to deliver an unforgettable cinematic experience to audiences nationwide. ‘Devara Part 1’ is scheduled to hit theaters across India on April 5, 2024.
