Bollywood’s renowned actor Akshay Kumar and actress Yami Gautam have graced the big screen once again with their lead roles in ‘OMG 2’, which was released on August 11th. As the film marks its third day in theaters, the box office earnings have started to paint a promising picture. Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2’ has showcased a commendable performance in its initial days, reflecting an upward trajectory in its box office collections.
Solid Start for ‘OMG 2’
The movie ‘OMG 2’, featuring Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi, has been met with a positive response since its first day in theaters. The film successfully amassed over 20 crores in the opening two days, showcasing a solid start at the box office. As the film completes its third day of release, fresh figures for earnings have emerged, revealing a jump in its collections.
Third-Day Surge
On its third day of release, ‘OMG 2’ earned a remarkable Rs 17.55 crore at the box office. This surge in earnings has contributed to the movie’s total collection, which has now reached an impressive Rs 43.11 crore. The film’s performance on the third day has shown a significant improvement compared to the second day, during which it earned Rs 15.30 crore.
Aiming for the 50 Crore Mark
While ‘OMG 2’, starring Akshay Kumar, Yami Gautam, and Pankaj Tripathi, has not yet crossed the 50 crore mark within its first three days, there is optimism that it will achieve this milestone in the days to come. With discussions revolving around the film’s budget, which reportedly stands at around 150 crore rupees, the industry is eager to witness whether ‘OMG 2’ can surpass this significant benchmark at the box office.
