On 19 January, PM Modi Will Visit Karnataka And Maharashtra.

“On 19 January 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Karnataka and Maharashtra.”

The Prime Minister of India will be visiting the districts of Yadgiri and Kalaburagi in Karnataka. The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate various developmental projects related to irrigation, drinking water, and a National Highway development project at around 12 noon in Kodekal, Yadgiri District.

The Prime Minister will reach Malkhed, Kalaburagi District at around 2:15 PM where he will distribute title deeds (hokku Patra) to the eligible beneficiaries of newly declared revenue villages. The government has decided to lay the foundation stone for a National Highway project.

Prime Minister will inaugurate, dedicate and lay the foundation stone of multiple development initiatives in Mumbai at around 5 PM. He will inaugurate two lines of the Mumbai Metro at around 6:30 PM and also undertake a metro ride.

PM in Karnataka,

The foundation stone of the Yadgir multi-village drinking water supply scheme under the Jal Jeevan Mission will be laid at Kodekal, Yadgiri District, This will help to provide safe and adequate drinking water to all households through individual household tap connections, as per the Prime Minister’s vision.

“The scheme will entail the construction of a water treatment plant with a capacity of 117 million liters per day. More than 700 rural habitations and three towns in the Yadgiri district will have access to potable water at a cost of over Rs 2050 crore”.

Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Narayanpur Left Bank Canal – Extension Renovation and Modernisation Project (NLBC – ERM) during the program. The project, which has a canal carrying a capacity of 10,000 cusecs, can irrigate 4.5 lac hectares of command area. More than three lakh farmers in 560 villages of Kalaburgi, Yadagir, and Vijaypur districts will benefit from this. The project will cost approximately Rs 4700 crores.

He will lay the foundation stone of the 65.5 km section of NH-150C. This road project, with 6 lanes, is part of the Surat – Chennai Expressway. About Rs, 2000 crore is being spent on its construction.

“About 1475 unrecorded habitations have been declared as New Revenue villages in five districts of Kalaburagi, Yadgiri, Raichur, Bidar, and Vijayapura, in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of 100 percent saturation of government schemes”.

The Prime Minister will distribute title deeds (hokku Patra) to eligible beneficiaries of newly declared revenue villages at Malkhed village of Sedam Taluka in Kalaburagi district. More than fifty thousand beneficiaries from the SC, ST and OBC communities will receive formal recognition from the government for their land, making them eligible for government services like drinking water, electricity, and roads.

“During the program, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of the 71 km section of NH-150C. This six-lane Greenfield road project is also part of the Surat-Chennai Expressway. More than Rs 2100 crore is being spent on its construction”.

The Surat – Chennai Expressway will pass through the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. It will shorten the existing route from 1600 Km to 1270 Km.

PM in Mumbai,

PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for projects worth around Rs 38,800 crores. The Prime Minister has focused on providing seamless urban mobility.

He will dedicate Mumbai Metro Rail Lines 2A & 7 to the nation, worth around Rs 12,600 crores. Metro line 2A, the yellow line, connects Dahisar E and DN Nagar and is around 18.6 Km long. Meanwhile, metro line 7, the red line, connecting Andheri E – Dahisar E, is around 16.5 Km long. In 2015, the Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for these lines.

The Prime Minister will also be launching the MUMBAI 1 Mobile App and the National Common Mobility Card (Mumbai 1). The app will make it easy to travel, can be displayed on the entry gates of Metro Stations, and supports digital payment to buy tickets through UPI.

“The National Common Mobility Card can initially be used in metro corridors and can be extended to other modes of mass public transit including local trains and buses as well. With the NCMC card, commuters will be able to make quick, contactless, digital transactions, making the process seamless and easy”.
