On the 10th of December President, Droupadi Murmu graced the Human Rights Day celebration organized by the National Human Rights Commission in New Delhi. The President said that developing sensitivity and sympathy is the key to promoting human rights. it is an important day for humans.

President said, “The worldwide year-long celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights begins. The United Nations has chosen dignity, freedom, and justice for all as the theme of the year 2022, which is close to the ideas expressed in the preamble of our constitution”

she said, What do you mean by justice in the preamble it is said, “It is social, economic, and political justice. I have said earlier also that we will try to give justice to the country. faced.”

She said We must learn – rather relearn – to treat nature with dignity. This is not only a moral duty; let us remember it is necessary for our own survival too.

“On Human Rights Day, the National Human Rights Commission of India urges everyone to reflect on their actions and duties to ensure they do not become causes of human rights violations”.

The event also represents a year-long campaign to promote and recognize it as the foundation for an expanding system of human rights protection for various sections of society amidst different challenges before humanity.
