Due to the gravity of his injuries, Pawandeep Rajan was soon transferred to a larger hospital in Delhi NCR for specialized care. His team confirmed that the singer had suffered multiple severe fractures along with some minor injuries, which necessitated a complex six-hour surgery. On May 9, his team provided another update that shook fans and well-wishers. Pawandeep Rajan had undergone three more surgeries, spending eight hours in the operation theatre. He was then moved to the ICU for continuous monitoring.

He was taken to the operation theatre early in the morning, and after eight long hours, doctors successfully treated all the remaining fractures.
