On the 26th of February Piyush Goyal, the Indian Minister of Commerce and Industry, made a statement about the growing popularity of Indian spices in global markets. On the foundation day of the Spices Board, an organization responsible for the development and promotion of Indian spices, Goyal reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring that the quality of Indian spices meets international standards.
