Addressing the nation from the historic Red Fort on the occasion of the 77th Independence Day, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi extended warm greetings to India’s 1.4 billion ‘Pariwarjan’ (Family Members) and highlighted the remarkable surge in the nation’s trust and confidence.
Shri Modi paid homage to the valiant heroes of India’s freedom struggle, commemorating their significant contributions. Reflecting on milestones, he emphasized the conclusion of the 150th Jayanti year of the revolutionary luminary, Sri Aurobindo. He also acknowledged the upcoming celebrations of Swami Dayanand’s 150th Jayanti, Rani Durgawati’s 500th birth anniversary, and the 525-year legacy of Bhakti Yog Sant Meera Bai. Looking ahead, he noted the upcoming 75th Republic Day and remarked on the unparalleled opportunities and inspirations for nation-building that this moment presents.
In his address, Prime Minister Modi highlighted the spirit of continuous progress and ever-evolving consciousness that shapes India’s journey, emphasizing the unparalleled opportunity for collective engagement in the noble endeavor of nation-building.
