On the 26th of February The PM of India, Shri Narendra Modi addresses the Rozgar Mela of the Uttar Pradesh Government via a video message. The event was attended by newly appointed sub-inspectors in the UP Police and equivalent posts in the Nagrik Police, Platoon Commanders, and Fire Department Second Officers.

In his address, the Prime Minister expressed his delight at getting the opportunity to address a Rozgar Mela almost every week in BJP-ruled states, emphasizing the importance of such events in creating employment opportunities for the youth of the country.

The Prime Minister highlighted the significance of the UP Rozgar Mela, stating that it would bring happiness to 9,000 families and enhance the sense of security in Uttar Pradesh. The newly recruited personnel will strengthen the police force in the state, improving both employment and security. Shri Modi applauded the efforts of the UP government in improving law and order and development orientation, which has led to new opportunities for employment, business, and investment.

The double-engine government of Uttar Pradesh has been instrumental in creating unprecedented employment opportunities. The Mudra Scheme, One District One Product scheme, flourishing MSME, and vibrant startup ecosystem have all contributed to the growth of employment opportunities in the state.

To the new appointees, the Prime Minister emphasized the new challenges and responsibilities they would face and urged them to keep the learner alive in them. He urged them to keep working on their personality development, progress, and knowledge. The Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of sensitivity in the police force and asked the new recruits to be sensitive to the needs of the people.

Training in modern areas like cyber crimes and forensic science will promote smart policing and improve the sensitivity of the police force, stated the Prime Minister. The new recruits have the responsibility of both security and giving direction to society. They can be a reflection of both service and strength for the people.
