In the wake of the distressing bus accident in Doda, Jammu, and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended his heartfelt condolences to the families grappling with the loss of their near and dear ones. The tragic incident has left a profound impact, prompting the Prime Minister to address the gravity of the situation and express his sympathies.
PM Modi’s Compassionate Words
“The tragic bus accident in Doda is deeply Horrible. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured recover at the earliest,” said Prime Minister Modi, reflecting on the shared grief felt across the nation in the aftermath of the accident.
Financial Assistance for the Affected Families
In addition to his condolences, PM Modi announced relief measures to support the affected families. An Ex-Gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) will be provided to the next of kin of each deceased individual. Furthermore, financial assistance of Rs. 50,000 will be extended to those who sustained injuries in the tragic accident.

The Prime Minister’s response underscores the government’s commitment to standing by the affected families during this challenging time. The financial assistance announced aims to alleviate some of the immediate burdens faced by the families of the deceased and the injured, providing support as they navigate the aftermath of the tragic incident.
