In a recent telephone conversation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his “great pain over the abject theatrics” displayed by some Members of Parliament within the sacred precincts of the Parliament complex. The conversation took place with Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar.

He remarked that while facing such situations personally was one thing, witnessing such incidents directed at the Vice President of India, within the hallowed halls of Parliament, was indeed unfortunate.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar conveyed his steadfast commitment to upholding the principles enshrined in the Indian Constitution despite the disruptive actions of a few individuals. He assured the Prime Minister that these antics would not deter him from performing his duty diligently.

“Emphasizing his dedication to constitutional values, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar reiterated that no amount of insults would sway him from his chosen path.
