On the 25th of February Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz recently held a meeting with top CEOs to discuss ways to strengthen economic ties between their countries. Sectors such as digital transformation, FinTech, IT, and Telecom featured prominently in the discussions.
The meeting is an opportunity for both countries to explore ways to deepen their economic engagement and leverage each other’s strengths. The CEOs who participated in the meeting were from some of the leading companies in Germany and India.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi and Chancellor Scholz emphasized the importance of innovation and technology in driving economic growth and creating job opportunities. They discussed how both countries could collaborate in areas such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to enhance their competitiveness in the global market.
The leaders also highlighted the need to promote investment and trade between India and Germany. They recognized the significant potential for growth in sectors such as renewable energy, healthcare, and infrastructure development.
The meeting comes at a time when both India and Germany are facing challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The leaders discussed the importance of international cooperation in addressing the health crisis and strengthening global supply chains.
